What exactly is Planet Heycha?
It's a great place to shop for anyone who loves tea. We cater to the so-called quirky tea nerds, general enthusiasts, chatty sommeliers, total newbs, and unabashed tea purists. Planet Heycha has something for you and every tea person in your life... possibly even *gulp* coffee people ☕️
Where do you ship?
We currently only ship within the U.S. Sign up for our email list and we will notify you if/when international shipping becomes available.
Do you offer returns / refunds?
At this time, all sales are final. We are a small, growing business. Please review your order carefully before placing it. I truly appreciate your understanding. Please see our comprehensive policies here. Returns and refunds may be offered on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of Planet Heycha.
How do you ship your items?
I package each item with pride, care, and excitement. I’m also committing to a greener future and have chosen more sustainable packing materials like honeycomb packing paper and recycled tissue. On occasion, traditional bubble wrap may be used in order to protect your items, but good news! It’s also 70% post-consumer recycled and fully recyclable 🙂
Planet Heycha sounds cool, but what are you doing for OUR planet?
Everything I possibly can. To offset the inherent nature of certain products, every order and item has been thoughtfully packaged in sustainable materials. I try to prioritize anything compostable, biodegradable, 100% post-consumer recycled, and fully curbside recyclable. Though slightly pricier, Planet Heycha never compromises when it comes to its alliance with Planet Earth. A full breakdown of our latest materials is included with every order.
When do you ship out orders?
Orders are shipped out twice a week. All orders will have a handling period of 5 business days, unless otherwise noted. Please see our shipping policies here for more info.
Who do you ship with?
Depending on your location I will use one of the three major shipping carriers: FedEx, UPS, and USPS. As I’m sure most of you are aware, USPS has been a bit of a mess since Covid. So when I’m able to, I will choose either UPS or FedEx.
Why no free shipping?
I too love when companies offer free shipping. Self admittedly, my biggest toxic trait is to add items I never needed in the first place JUST to hit that sweet, sweet “free shipping order minimum”. But as a brand new business, free shipping is challenging. The math isn’t mathing… YET. As the business grows, margins grow. When margins grow, there's more room for shipping costs to be included. I truly appreciate your understanding and will do everything I can to make the shipping costs as low as possible.
Do you offer wholesale for your enamel pins or tea log?
I hope to offer actual wholesale at some point. If you are interested now, please shoot me an email at planet.heycha@gmail.com and we might be able to work something out in the meantime!
Tracking says delivered, but I don’t have my items?
This happens. While not frequent, sometimes things are scanned before they hit your doorstep. Please give it a day or two before reaching out. Usually they show up or a neighbor has them. In the case of a lost item, please see our current policies here.
As an online store, it’s my responsibility to provide you with tracking information and make sure the package is fully protected and insured. Once it’s scanned by the shipping carrier, it is the carrier's responsibility to deliver it to you. While we hope there are no hiccups with any delivery, things happen.
Do you offer custom work? Can you help turn my design into a pin? Can you share some knowledge? What’s your favorite tea?
For custom work, depending on the scope and ask, maybe! In general, don’t be afraid to reach out for any and all inquiries. It’s a 2023 charcoal roasted heirloom tieguanyin btw, and I’m almost out 😩
